Reference Images in Inspections and Reports:
We introduced the ability to add static reference images directly to sections within your templates. This powerful new feature allows inspectors to visually embed instructions, manuals, part diagrams, maps, and more. These images will appear during inspections and, if desired, on reports, ensuring seamless alignment between fieldwork and documentation. Whether verifying specific conditions, parts, or setups, reference images offer precise guidance, minimizing guesswork and enhancing the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of inspections.
We’ve added more email notifications
You can now get notified when an inspection is created, set to In Progress, completed, or deleted. To enable these notifications, go to Settings > Email Notifications in the web or mobile app.
Expanded Scoring Capabilities
We’ve extended scoring to numeric and text form fields! You can now create conditional logic to assign scores using operators like equal to or greater than for numeric values, and contains or starts with for text values, offering greater flexibility and precision in your scoring processes.
Instructions Visibility in Final Reports
We’ve added the option to specify, within a template’s Instruction control, whether the instructions should appear in the final PDF report. This feature allows you to display instructions during the inspection process without including them in the generated report, ensuring a cleaner, more focused final output.
Enhanced Workflow Locking Features
We’ve added new locking behaviors to workflows:
- Authorized User Locking: Only authorized users can unlock and modify data on a locked page.
- Permanent Lock: Secure an inspection with a permanent lock, preventing any further edits.
These features ensure tighter control and data integrity throughout the inspection workflows.
New ‘Cancelled’ Inspection Status
We’ve introduced a ‘Cancelled’ status to help you better manage your inspections. Use this status to mark inspections as inactive, terminated, or no longer needed, ensuring your workflows stay organized and up to date. This addition improves clarity by filtering out discontinued inspections from active processes.

Scoring, Color Coding, and Flagging in Templates
We’re excited to roll out powerful new features that will enhance the way you conduct inspections. Now, you can configure scoring, color coding, and flagging within your templates for multi-choice, single choice, and dropdown questions, offering greater visibility and clarity in your inspections and reports.
- Scoring
You can now assign numeric scores to questions, and see them automatically tally across individual questions, entire pages, and the overall inspection in real-time. Scores can be displayed in your final PDF reports. Plus, you can convert these scores into your preferred currency and apply a currency multiplier to estimate inspection costs. All scoring settings are centralized in the newly designed properties tab, making template configuration straightforward and efficient.
- Color Coding
You can now highlight responses by selecting from preset colors or defining your own. This feature makes your inspections and reports visually engaging, ensuring that key data stands out and is easily identified.
- Flagging
Easily flag responses that need attention in your reports. You have the option to flag items in real-time during the inspection or after its completion, all controlled within the template properties. Additionally, you can include a section in the final PDF report that summarizes all flagged items, ensuring that important details are not missed.

Workflows empower you to streamline your inspection processes by defining inspection steps and assigning role-based permissions to sections of your inspections. Our enhanced Template Builder lets you configure page-level access and visibility, ensuring the right team members see and complete only their assigned inspection parts. You can now add action buttons within inspection templates to submit and lock data, track progress status, and automatically notify users in the workflow.

Single Sign-On Support
We are pleased to announce the launch of Single Sign-On (SSO) support. Enterprise clients can now log in to the Visualogyx platform using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) or request other preferred authentication methods. This update simplifies the login process, enhances security, and helps maintain internal security policies.

Introducing Resharing capabilities
In Visualogyx users can extend inspection collaboration beyond a core team by inviting external users, such as third-party inspectors or field examiners, directly into the inspection workflow.
Our latest update allows these external users to re-share or delegate inspections, offering increased flexibility and extended reach in inspection management.
When an inspection is shared, users will now find a ‘Re-share’ option that when ON enables further sharing.
We improved the “Locate Me” and “Check-In” features for setting inspection geolocation to use precise location services and avoid using cached locations.
